Call me a shutterbug, I never leave home without a camera.

I’m a photographer living in Northeast Indiana. Over the last 10 years or so, nature photography has become my outlet. My means of disconnecting with the ever chaotic world in which I live and work. It is a therapeutic hobby that is good for both my mental health and my soul. It’s on the short-list of things that bring true joy to my life. And I’ve found that through sharing my work via social media, that it brings joy to others as well.

It is my hope that through my images, I can remind people that there is great beauty in this world if only we take the time to stop and look.

For a long time now, I’ve wanted to create a dedicated place to share the ever growing collection of photos that I take. Photos of nature, photos from my travels, and photos that capture life in general.

Enter Mike Durbin Photography. Here you will find various galleries of my work, as well as a blog with older photos dating back to March 2014. I think it offers a neat view of my progression in terms of skill, quality, and gear. You’ll also find a page dedicated to the gear that I use.

This is very much a work in progress. I hope you’ll bear with me and follow the journey.

Thanks for visiting!
